Beer, Comfort Food, and You

It’s odd for me to give cooking advice.

Anyone who knows me is well aware of the fact that anything I cook is likely to end up in the category of flambé, charred, or choking hazard, which is why I was so excited that I could make this Tastefully Simple Beer Bread and Beer Cheese Soup. The name says it all! These recipes really are “tastefully simple”. All you have to do is add a little liquid in the form of the beer of your choice, stir, stir, stir and then heat. Ta’ da! A fabulous meal even for the cooking challenged.

However no comfort food dinner would be complete without dessert and what could be better than beer cupcakes?

If know your way around the kitchen and are more adventurous, you can try these amazing Guinness or Blue Moon cupcake recipes. They are every bit as yummy as they sound and were a huge hit when a friend brought them to my last beer tasting party.

    • Hi Sara, thanks for stopping by to read and comment . Beer and food pairings seem even more amazing to me when the beer is incorporated into the food. Ive had several versions of beer cupcakes and they are always deliciously moist and flavorful.

I’ll have to give the beer onion soup a try thanks for sharing the recipe.
