Rocky Mountain Oyster … Stout?

It has come to my attention twice today that Wynkoop Brewing will be seriously be releasing a beer made with Rocky Mountain Oysters aka bull testicles. Ms. Batty Beer Babe has given her opinion on trying every beer and beers that seem just a little, well, odd. Add this to the list in my book.

Wynkoop participated in a little goofing around along with a few other breweries back on April Fools Day. Now, this is legit happening. Wynkoop has officially described the flavor as

Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout is an assertive foreign-style stout, slightly viscous, with a deep brown color. It has equally deep flavors of chocolate syrup, Kahlua, and espresso, along with a palpable level of alcohol and a savory umami-like note. It finishes dry and roasted with a fast-fading hop bite.

I don’t care what you say it tastes like Wynkoop, I don’t think I’ll be trying it. Anyone out there brave enough to give it a go?
