The holiday shopping season has begun! It seems to start earlier and earlier every year. Brick and mortar stores started putting up their Christmas and winter decor way before Halloween even hit. While I hate to have holidays overlap each other for the advantage of “more sales,” it did nudge me to start my gift guide searching early. Sometimes I need a nudge instead of waiting until the last minute to get the gift shopping done. We all do it.
For 2017, I’ve also rounded up some help to do the searching. This year’s Craft Beer Themed Gift Guide includes not only my finds but also great gift ideas from the team of ladies at StoutsAndStilettos.com. I think you’ll enjoy the many items we’ve pulled together for your shopping and wishlist making. Cheers!

Mug Clubs for Local Breweries
Not all states have this type of program at breweries due to restrictive liquor laws. But in Pennsylvania where I live, there are quite a few breweries that have yearly mug clubs. You pay a membership fee which gets you a custom numbered mug that gets stored behind the bar and every time you belly up to the bar your beer gets poured into your mug. The mugs are generally bigger than the standard pour but you only pay the price for the smaller, standard pour all year long. And, there are other membership perks that differ from brewery to brewery, like customer appreciation parties, first notification of beer releases, merch discounts, etc.
Hoodies from local breweries
Tierney loves the hoodie from Troegs Independent Brewing that has a beer coozie built right into it! ($49) Now that’s pretty sweet.
COLLEEN N.’S PICKS
The Amazing Drinking Jacket 2.0 by Zane Lamprey – $49 ON SALE (reg. $109)
AMANDA W.’S PICKS
Ladies racer back tank tops and fitted tees from local breweries.
Amanda W. adores her tank top from Veil Brewing Co. If only they had an online store! #Want
Craft Brewery or Beer Experiences
Think tickets to local beer dinners, brewery tours & tastings, beer festivals, gift cards to beer bars or breweries, etc.
A lot of the larger craft brewers have electronic gift cards on their online stores – like Allagash Brewing Co. – which makes it so much easier when you can shop from home.
Sonora, personally, is hoping that Santa brings a gift card to Birch & Barley in D.C. It’s a fancy restaurant owned by the ChurchKey Beer Co. folks – in fact, ChurchKey is Birch and Barley’s upstairs bar. (Hint. Hint. Santa!)
